Sitefinity Ideas

Your portal to submit new ideas (enhancement requests) for Progress Sitefinity. Anyone can submit and vote on ideas, and these will be reviewed and prioritized by the Product Management team. If you submitted or subscribe to an idea, you will get automatic email notifications of comments and significant status changes.

Uninstalling module

There should be a method for uninstalling a module which removes all data, seettings and pages related to the module.

    Yes, hiding modules is a bit annoying as they are still there. Uninstalling modules removes the overhead as well, unless I am talking nonsense.

    Not sure if you seen the following documentation on the Sitefinity web site. It doesn't exactly show uninstalling a module, but using the unload() method in the module class developers can now unsubscribe events and resources from Sitefinity. From my understanding this method is called when a module is deactivated.
